Zette Shoes was created in 2014, from the team behind Melbourne ethical footwear boutique Vegan Style.
Our range offers premium, vegan shoes for women and men, in bold, sophisticated styles.
Adopting a slow fashion approach, our vegan shoes are handmade in Europe in limited quantities, in Spain, Italy and Portugal. We seek out small, family-run factories, where our artisans receive fair, safe working conditions and living wages.
Kinder Footwear
From the (vegan) leathers to the glues, dyes, and more, we ensure that no animal-derived materials are used to create our shoes — making them kinder to animals, people and planet.
We also don’t believe ethical fashion necessitates a compromise to quality or style, so we select luxurious, eco-conscious, cruelty-free materials — such as Italian & Spanish crafted vegan leathers that hold Ecolabel and OEKO-TEX certifications. Zette Shoes is also accredited as PETA approved vegan.
Personality With Every Shoe
As avid animal lovers (and also because we can’t resistant kitten cuteness), when we’re not obsessing over shoes we’re playing with rescue fur babies at Vegan Style HQ. We’ve now fostered and helped to re-home over 100 rescue cats, and we name each of our Zette styles after one of them. As well as our brand name, Zette is also the name of one of our very first foster felines. (She’s still with us, and still has lots of personality).
